5 'Thou Shalt Not's' of Project Management
At the start of each day, it is important for a project manager to set their tone for greatness. One of the ways to do this is to set in stone what WILL NOT happen during any given day. Let's call these the 'Thou Shalt Not's' of Project Management. So as to not overwhelm you, we'll begin with 5.
1. Thou shalt not be late to a meeting.
2. Thou shalt not belittle a team member.
3. Thou shalt not forget to send reminders.
4. Thou shalt not let the team run themselves.
5. Thou shalt not let their personal life interfere with work performance.
What a way to begin the day. Create and set your frame. If it's a strong one, everyone who comes into your space will 'fold' into you. Be the leader you are being paid to be.
